Gif animations come with a few disadvantages (like the 256 color palette which disallows true-color imaging and the limit of one color only transparency).

Hi Kevin,

I only wish it was only a rookie mistake – even after 5 years I still make little mistakes like that.

I guess when you write PHP day in day out you go too fast over the little things and that makes it easy to overlook things.

Still, we live and learn.

@richmond — you need periods between the lines in the inline echos showing the errors.

@Jonathan — I have rebuilt this script using your exact code, both by hand and a straight copy/paste, and I cannot get the error checking to work. If the required fields are not filled in, the form does not submit (which is correct, of course), but no errors actually appear on the page. Any clues?

Thanks for this tutorial.
I do not understand it fully yet but hope I will in time.
I simply want to create a WPv3 style nav bar with a home link-why does all this look sooo complicated? Seems a steepish learning curve going from Kubrick to TwentyTen style/function…
